I'm Anthony Catanese... dad (who smells good according to my daughter), product person but really just love people and appreciate design, occasional builder/typer of things. I've been putting things on the internet since I was 12: starting with AOL site, Geocities, straight HTMl/CSS, and countless Wordpress intstallacross a handful of domains. Gotta say, I'm most proud of even getting the domain www.ant.cat.
Each time, I'd try something, restart, and lose the thread. This goal now is lean is just accept that some of the writings are self indulgent, and the experiments are to help me personally grow. My day is back to back Teams meetings help people get through blockers. If I'm out of the game, then how will I help. About these experiments, they are the content. I build small things, ship them, and try and be honest to myself about why it was or was not special... how it went (the wrong turns included).
The writing portion of the site has 20ish years of posts on it: silly things, work stuff, observations, reviews, travel stories, and whatever I was thinking about at the time...and some good tunes.
Also, my favorite is to spend way too much time on one tiny aspect of a site or presentation or product that does something that no person should spend so much time doing. But when the right person catches it, they say "Whoa! How did you do that?" Truly my favorite.
