Thinking about
What it means to build software when it's become as easy as a prompt and it's as simple as an email or Excel file. Most software is designed for recurring use: retention, habit, the returning user. But some of the most meaningful and helpful things only happen once.
Always: time perception and the half-life of knowledge. Once you pass your 32nd doubling, cumulative value matters far more than urgent friction. Software should help us feel more creative and more human without anything more.
Life
Based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Loving my partner, Samantha, and life. Keeping up with my 5yr old daughter and navigating kindergarten milestones. Pretend to be a surfer when the swell cooperates, daily workouts, and keeping my 1997 Jeep TJ running clean. Learning upright bass, focusing on finger plucking rhythm and walking jazz blues lines. Finding that the best ideas still come from building things vs what if'ing them to death.
